  1. Vivid image. I try and capture something of nature plus something philosophical in my poems but I should try a few haikus too! Is KU another Japanese form?


    1. I think ‘ku is short for haiku. Writing haiku is a wonderful exercise in observing and capturing a moment in time and , if one is lucky, a sudden insight, hence the ‘aha moment.” Try it! A book I read when I first began writing haiku and related forms is called. The Haiku Handbook by William Higginson. I highly recommend it! Enjoy.
