A haiga and a one line senryu for Haiku Horizons prompt – present
I will never forget a friend of mine, a brilliant professor of mathematics and Hebrew, who descended into the depths of dementia. The image that stays in my mind is that of his wife reading aloud to him the simplest of children’s stories one day on the porch of the nursing home. It was clear that he had no clue what the story was about.

I wonder who is saddened the most in cases of dementia..the patient or the family. This Wabi is a thinking haiku. I glad I found you guys. All interesting stuff.
