Even Candent Days

even candent days
cannot drive the willow leaves
from their homing place

a mother’s cool hand comforts
his brow –  burning with fever

  1. To me the combination of the idea of home with the cool hand of a mother makes this a poem about comforting things generally. Congratulations for creating such a large idea in just two lines.

Thank you!
