  1. Reminds me of a long-married couple I knew years ago in Pennsylvania. They were driving to a church conference. He was driving, had a stroke, died, and the car hit a bridge abutment. His wife was so badly injured that she lasted only a few more hours. While we were sorry to see them go, we were glad they went together.



  2. This does frequently happen…a wonderful tribute to those couples.
    It can often happen with siblings that are close also.
    That happened with my mother and her youngest brother. Days apart,
    funerals same day, same place, one in morning, one in afternoon.
    They lived in nearby states, always close.
