I never knew of it, but it must be good. A sweet haiku with the feel of autumn.

White willow bark – salix – is the original source of salicylic acid AKA aspirin…and was used by indigenous people for thousands of years before aspirin was ‘invented.’ It eases pain and reduces fever.

Those autumn chills, first of the season, are some of the hardest to shake. Does willow tea do the trick? (Yeah, I know, it’s just aspirin in disguise!)

I love a cup of ginger tea to chase the chills. Very warming….also anti-inflammatory. Lemon balm also works … and makes me drowsy too!

maybe the tea works better, but I was disappointed in the capsules….in any case, your haiga is fantastic,,,,

Herbs do not work the same way that drugs do. The effects are subtle and gradual. I actually prefer ginger to white willow bark.
