Lovely haiku, Wabi. I haven’t done The Sunday Whirl because of eyes. I save my focus for Carpe Diem and the twitter haiku. Such a beautiful job incorporating the words into an art form.

Each one better than the one before!

I love “sucking scarlet bee balm.” Bergamot is my favorite herb, and I love watching the bees suck up pollen through it’s straw like petals.

Quite a nice batch of haiku. Did you get the prompt (the photo with the words on it) from another website or make it yourself?

The Sunday Whirl is here:http://sundaywhirl.wordpress.com/ It is a weekly prompt with 12 or 13 words.(And , no I did not make the picture) I often do a longer, non-haiku poem for this prompt, but it depends on how the words grab me. It is a fun prompt! check it out!

Although I enjoyed all of them, I particularly liked the very visual “feathery sparks chasing mosquitos”.

Awesome series Wabi, but (of course 🙂 ) I do like the one inspired on the “Seated Man” the most.

What a treat the reader has in picturing each haiku in their mind. After a few reads I think the Bamboo shadows piece was inspiring as time was reversed.
