hearing the nightingale’s trill

echo the song

    • Our ‘mountains’ are mere foothills, not worthy to be called even ‘small mountains.’ And hills fit into my poem better than small mountain did!

      • I was having fun with my comment, of course. Your haiku is worthy of a re-read, so here I am this morning, enjoying it afresh. Thank you, Inspired One!

  1. The loud whistling crescendo and, an impressive range of whistles, trills and gurgles is what I have been hearing all morning today. right outside my window in a noisy urban city like mine. It is the mating season. I’m trying to add the sounds I recorded today!! Thank you and I greatly appreciate your visit!!

Thank you!
