  1. wow Wabi Sabi. this is a beautiful haiga. there is a great connection between the image and the ku yet each stands on it’s own merit. the haiku does not describe the image and the image does not illustrate in a direct way the haiku. that (imo) is ideal in haiga. very cool. aloha.

I am intrigued by the subtle skills needed to incorporate words and image in just the way you describe( and do so well in your own work) to create a successful haiga. In this one, I felt as though I was was inching a bit closer to the true meaning of haiga and your words are encouraging. Thank you.
