Moonlight

 her birth moment

under november moonlight

a lotus blooms

The lotus, long revered in Asia,  is a stunningly beautiful flower that blooms during the day, closing up at night and sinking under the water in which it grows,  rising in the morning  to bloom again and again.  Extremely fragrant and adaptive, it is a symbol of purity and tranquility.

My lovely lotus, now a vibrant and creative woman,  continues to bloom  in the garden of my  life.  And although the lotus  flower  does not bloom at night,  mine did,  on a cold November night a long time ago.  A miracle.

Shared with ‘Tackle it Tuesday‘ where the prompt is  ‘moonlight’ and Haiku My Heart at Recuerda mi Corazon.
